Cupcakes are fun!

My sister found me a fun recipe for these awesome rainbow cupcakes... They are white cake with different colors of food color gel to make them FUN! I topped them with vanilla bean buttercream. Yumm!

I chose 5 colors: Purple, yellow, blue, red(ish?), and green

Dropping in the different layers of color...

Ready for the oven!

Cooling off, waiting for the frosting...

Vanilla bean buttercream frosting

Aren't they awesome???

  1. OOOOO These look so good and SO fun! I think I may just try these with the kids! They would LOVE them!!! Especially since we just got done learning about Noah and the rainbow God put in the sky! This could kinda be part of the lesson!!! THANKS! (love you blog and can't wait for more!) Oh and if you have any hints or tips on how to make baking with "kids" would love to hear them! Sometimes it can drive me nuts! :)
